my rock isnt cycling!

it has been 4 days since ive received my first shipment of TBS rock. i have been measuring all the params daily, and ammonia and nitrite dont seem to be entering any danger zone - neither have gone beyond .5

in fact, they seemed to peak and fall off at 0.1

how much longer should i wait until i schedule for the 2nd shipment?

My rock never cycled into the danger zone either. That just means your rock had a very good shipment, and that not much is dying.

My rock never went over 0.25 ppm.

oh... thats true... i live in NJ and the transit time from TBS to my house was around 4-5 hrs... if thats the case, when should i schedule the next shipment?

Yeah that is my only consolation that is making me feel better about my tank being delayed. It should be setup and ready to roll Jan 15th ish, and then I too can join you. Going to be getting 300 lbs of TBS rock so heres to hoping we are looking at a good month.
