Does one of them have a hole in the dorsal fin?In pic #2 it looks like it does.

Yes - it does. I am not sure why, but I noticed this a while ago.

I just ordered a pair of these beauties from PA tonight.. I'm interested to know what sort of foods you were feeding them when they were tiny? I want to be prepared - they won't be here till next Saturday so I've got some time.

I'm well stocked on flake, cyclops-eez, etc - do they require anything special at this small stage?

Since those from PA are EXTREMELY tiny, I would follow "Doni's" recipe but mince/cut everything down even further.

A 1/4" fish is teeny-tiny. I hope either you have a nano or a separate tank to raise these fish.

nothing special. They are eating frozen before they leave the "hatchery".
