My sebae won't attach..?

So I got a sebae anemone a couple days ago, drip acclimated for almost two hours and then put it in my tank. I guess it was somewhat bleached, but what store bought sebae isn't. It isn't white like others I have seen and is a light tan.. It's foot won't attach. I placed it on a lower rock, but now it has just drifted down to the sand still without its foot attached. What should I do?

Be patient. Does it seem otherwise happy where it is? Just leave it. It will find another spot if it is not happy. My experience is most anenomes like a protected spot. A crack, a hole in the rock, a crevice or a depression in the sand. Somewhere where it can shrink up and feel protected. Put it in a spot like that it will probably stay put.

Read my thread right above yours

I read yours and yes I have tomatoes, but they don't bother it yet.

Any suggestions.. It hasn't attached yet, but I have it resting between rocks. I can see the foot and it isn't planted, but it did eat a piece of krill yesterday.

Still hasn't attached, but color has improved and it gladly takes krill. Weird? It seems to be attached under its tentacles, but the foot is unattached.

So it is taking the krill and keeping it down? I just don't associate unattached and feeding normally.

It may be still acclimating.
They prefer sand.
Scoop a little between 2 rocks to protect from flow. Eating is good sign.
What are lights/flow?

It is resting on the sand between a few rocks right now. I have 8x54 T5s and about 30x turnover.

Unfortunately, the tang randomly died a few months ago. I have no idea why. All the other fish have been fine

Well, light is fine, and flow is OK for nem, but I'd think of bumping it a little later on down the road.(for other stuff besides nem)
I'm at 40-45x and my sebae likes it, but my LTA is a little fussy.
Leave it alone as much as possible at least till it attaches, don't even stress on feeding much just yet, it's getting good light.
Sorry about Tennenti.

Alright sounds good. And yea I was pretty upset about the tang. I never see them and this one ate like a big for almost year then one day it just got really weak and was getting stuck to powerheads. The next day I found it dead on the bottom. I don't know why.
