i added some more snails to help clean up and sift my sand. it's tough trying to clean the glass with my current live stock. i am going to be splitting almost all my livestock once my friend get's his tank running. i thought about upgrading, but i just got this tank!

So where the corals from the old tank? Or are they new? You mentioned they were rescues.

rescues from a friend's tank, i should have mentioned that. the only coral that remains from the old tank are the Acans, the small red digi frag, and what appears to be a red planet frag, i'm not sure yet. it did not have the colors it currently has now.

What setting do you run the vortech on? Mine kicks sand up something terrible. I have the seaflor special grade sand.

whats the intensity on your radion?

49-50% I have slowly adjusted by 1% twice every week.. I'm thinking about continuing but haven't moved it up for about two weeks. Still need to do some more research. The reason I haven't is bc my tank is only 12" deep and with sand, probably 9" of water depth. I don't think I have any reason to increase my radion more. I put frags towards the top as testers to see if they get beached out, but nothing yet.

Not sure what this is! When I first bought it, it was a dark red color. It basically almost died in H. Sandy, and when i got my display tank running again, it started turning into this. My guess is Red Planet..What do you think?
