Quick update, tank has been doing great with lots of growth. not alot has changed in the last 9 or so months. I have lost 3 of my 4 chromis due to either jumping or going missing, and recently added a Anthias to the tank.

live stock is:
hippo tang at 4"
tomini tang at 3.5"
paired true perc clowns 3"/2.25"
anthias 2.5"
six line wrasse at 2.25"
yellow headed wrasse at 4.5"
coral beauty angle at 2"
chromis at 1.5"

everyones doing great, though im noticing the hippo is starting to be a snug fit in his little cave. He will either have to find a new home within the next 6 months or ill be upgrading tanks in the spring.

there may be the chance of me moving in the next 6 months so for now im still working with the tank i have. recently bought a Maxspect XF150 and love it! just did a major cutback today of overgrowth, going to exchange some frags and get some new stuff

Quick update. The tank is coming down! I am on my last day of my schooling for the new job, we bought a house and are moving this weekend. I will be setting up a temporary holding tank for everything while I prepare for the switch, and will be fully scrubbing and starting the tank over from dry rock to weed out any/all pests and have a very solid base to begin. The thought of selling it came to mind, but I have too much invested and enjoy this far too much to let it go. I will likely setup a RODI system in the new house.

One question i have is what sort of methods of reducing evaporation have people had? My only concern with the tank is the amount of humidity it will put out into a 100+year old home.

Pictures to come!

Revival post!

After a year and a half of the tank sitting in my basement, we are changing around our homes layout and finally have a spot on the main floor for my tank!I will update more once I get things rolling (Early to mid 2018).

Well, that never happened. This tank and stand was sold off in 2018.

Have been running a rimless biocube for the past 6 years, and am starting a new build in our new home. Something around 45x21x16" or there abouts, with a left side peninsula style internal overflow and through bottom lines. Its going to be nice to get back into a larger tank!

For old times sake, here's the old 60.

Large aquariums really do look amazing in an interior. I've worked with a few of these projects before and I'm always amazed at how they become the centerpiece of a room.
