Perhaps a treatment of prazi would boost confidence on the worm front? It seems to get most of the ones encountered in the hobby.

Red Sea Sailfin Tang (Desjardini) - 7"-8"
Beautiful fish and he brought out my two Vlamingi Unicorn Tangs almost immediately. For some reason the addition of this fish was the key that unlocked the sociability of all of my other fish. Everybody is out much more and in the open areas picking through the sand and at the sides. I cant believe it! Much more action now!
This is another slight rehabilitation project as the Tang had some erosion around its eyes but not the lateral line I don't believe.
Last time I checked, the Emperor Angels head erosion was almost completely healed up. Makes me thrilled!

Ive been noticing some weird behavior after lights out.
Atleast one shark is much more active, even when the lights are on, and this has been its way since Ive had it for almost two years now. But when the lights go out, hes like flipper. Ive seen him almost propel himself out of the water. If this were a normal tank, hed definitely be carpet surfing. At first I thought it was stray voltage, but checked that with a volt meter and no. Then ammonia and nitrite, nope. Ph, no. I did a close inspection of the actual shark and there were no visible injuries, or parasites and hes developing decent clasper size and putting on weight, so hes maturing sexually and there shouldn't be any internal parasites, because I also just prazi'd the entire system several months ago.
I cant figure the behavior out, and I wont lie, at first it had me worried. I was sitting down there in the dark like a mad man, lol. That's when I observed him doing Flipper, flapping his tail so hard and fast that he was literally propelling himself out of the water. Like walking on water.
The only thing I can think of is its a naturally more active shark, as I said its always been more active, even during the day. Now that hes put on size and strength, his activity is more noticeable? other than that, it still has me very worried.
Any ideas? Tonight I will try to get it on video. It starts almost exactly after I turn off the lights.

This is the behaviour I was speaking of in the other thread. I checked the stray voltage, NH3/NH4, NO3, PH, nothing. He's just like flipper (as you stated 
) Extremely energetic but the swimming is erratic. I did the prazi and everything went well, I feed the mazuri gel vitamins and like you said, the best groceries I can get (above myself

I think it's safe to say, we all love your thread here... Continue!I read a journal article on gray bamboo mating that a fellow shark keeper sent me. In the article the researchers mentioned a much higher energy level and much more activity and swimming by the two male sharks that were paired with two females in the study. They stated the males swam almost non stop. If you'd like to see the article PM me your email address!

Griseum how often do you do water changes to the lagoon? How many gallons?
sadly, while I was treating them both with antibiotic medication, I lost them. The popeye continued to get worse until on one of them, the eyes were lost and it didn't last much longer. The bruises mid-body I believe were from needling to decompress. But it wasn't done correctly. Big bummer. Ive been on the lookout for healthier hybrids however.

ugh, sorry to hear that, was afraid that would happen so I put off asking about them.
Adding onto the system a six foot 125 gallon tank (with custom stand) today. It came pre-drilled from a friend for 3 x 1.5" bulkheads. These Bulkheads are HUGE!!! I have them all plumbed but for now im only going to have one in use as a drain. Theres no need for a BeanAnimal drain because The System is in the basement, not my bedroom. I can always add a durso if the gurgling is so loud I can hear it from downstairs and a hundred feet away. LOL.
What does anyone think I should do in this tank?
I was pondering a display fuge, partly because I picked up a goody bag of Macro Algaes yesterday as well as a much sought after Acanthurus nigricans (White-cheek Tang or Gold Rim tang) which is in QT with Prazi. One of my favorite Tangs.
The algaes I was able to get are Agardhiella (red), C. racemosa (which I happen to RELISH lol), Ulva, Gracilaria, and something else I need an ID on.
HMMMMM. what goes in the 72"x18"
EDIT: Its almost time to start seeing some eggs with the Grays. Maybe I should reserve it for Eggs and Juvie growout!?!
