my solana build

So, I decided to go back to a nano tank. I was saving up to get something bigger and I was almost there, all I had to do was wait...but my car had other ideas. So, now I'm back to a nano tank. I bought a solana and it came with stand, skimmer, pump, and plenty of extras.

First things first, i need to build a new stand, because this one has a lot of water damage. My buddy janes_mw said he would help me soon.

I also decided cover the back wall with sand and a few pieces of rock to get that "rock wall" feel without losing a lot of depth. Here are some pieces I cut flat so it would glue to wall better.

overflow came out very nice, alot easier and cheaper than mine.

Thanks sam. I wish I had the money to get a tank like yours. Seems like every time I get the cash to buy a bigger tank, that money needs to go elsewhere. O well, glad we had the money and didn't need to go into debt. I'll just need to start saving again.

The stand has been built!!!!

I love the look, and think at 38" the viewing will be great!! Now I need to pick a color. The wife doesn't want anymore "wood" coloring in the house. I need to go to HD to check out my options.
