My son's school saltwater tank upgrade.

My son just started kindergarten and I was pleased to see that they had a nice saltwater tank with a few fish, no corals. One day I see that he has a new tank on the floor. I ask the principal about it and he says that he is upgrading to a 75 from what I believe is a 25 or so. I told him that I would help with the setup. He told me that he needs help bringing in water. I only have two five gallon buckets and the same for him. I was wondering if someone here could lend me a bunch of buckets so I don't have to make multiple trips to the LFS. Which is All Pets in Pembroke Pines. The school is in Miami Lakes on 57th Ave. Or would you guys recommend for me to get a saltwater delivery to the school. Thanks

Unfortunately he's running...gasp...hang on back filters, so no sump. Who is good for the delivery in that area?

If it's going to stay fish only and lightly stocked, 2 appropriately sized hob filters, with media changed/cleaned in an alternating pattern can work. If the plan is to make it a reef, it will be a constant uphill battle.
With access to NSW, I would never transport LFS water. That said, I have access to NSW (would have to collect it myself, I don't think there's a service here), but I make my own RO/DI and mix in Reef Crystals.

Yes, that is the tank. Sorry for the late reply, been working. The director is upgrading it to a 75. Some of his fish died, including the clownfish. The current tank is fish only. I don't think he's going to attempt a reef. Forgot to ask him about it. But the new light setup is a dual T5. Probably enough for softies.
