My SPS tank

you have a nice tank Rodrigo... Why cant Balling salts be more available here in the US.. where do you purchase your balling salts from?

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I really like your aquascape. Nice use of proportion and open space, and your corals make me wish I had a bigger tank. :p

No, the skimmer is a Octopus External PS-200. It's an old model, but imo he do the job pretty well. More important is to make sure that it's clean inside so it can work better. Yes I think you can keep the tank nice and clean in a more easy way. I've been dosing vodka and bio digest on a regular basis but my tank has became to much sterilized and I started to lose some lps and soft corals. Now I'm planning to try the "reefbum" method. More nutrients input and more water changes. :)
If my corals looked like that i wouldn't change a thing! Sweet stuff! :bigeyes:

Nice tank Rodrigo. I especially like the vivid colors. Excellent work! Please keep us updated with more pictures.

thanks velvet... I'm already planning some changes here because some corals grow really fast.

You're absolutely right. Last month I started the high export/import reefbum method. Man, what a disaster! algae boom, dirty glasses everyday, colors browning up... That was a nice lesson for me, and as you say, if things are going well for you, so stick with your method and only make small changes if necessary.

thank you tec

Really beautiful tank. I saw your pic on another thread, and purposely searched this one out. How many Nano Streams do you have running?

This piece just blows my mind, I would love to try and find one for my own tank. Can anyone tell me what kind of coral this and the requirements it has in order to keep it?

Thanks :)
