i think im going to have to take the sand out i just cant keep it from blowing around, and its really starting to annoy me, ive changed the streams around, but with no success...

The sand gives it a nice natural look. Do not remove the sand. Just top it with a larger grain sand.

Nice looking tank! How old is the tank and do you grow corals from mini colony or frags? How is coral business there in NZ?

I know in heart that a tank always looks better with less, but damn I am just too greedy on SPS collection and keep telling myself 'let me just get this last acro, last one' ... end up with a display frag tank.

tank is 120x60x50(h)cm
sump is 90x45x40(h)cm with eheim 1060 return pump
deltec APF600 skimmer
single 400w MH with Reeflux 12k bulb
2x 6200 streams with 7095 controller
2 part dosing using Bubble Magnus dosing pump

thats about it really, i only have 1 6200 running at the moment and a XTM DIY wave box without the box to see if that would help with the sand

the tank has been running for about a year and most of the Acro's were from either frags or small mini colonys

Marine business is quite small down here, so we dont get alot of fancy corals but occasionally the importers get some nice ones in

nice, I love the tank and the lighting was a good choice, I also had a problem with my sand and my pumps and the larger grain sand did the trick. good luck!
