My tangs don't eat their veggies

Hey guys I have a yellow tang and a kole tang in my 125 gallon tank and they will not touch seaweed. They will eat all the frozen, flake and pellet food but not the seaweed. I had a few patches of algae in the tank but they went through it fast. Anyone else have tangs like this? Or have any suggestions?

My powder blue has been with me since '06 and never touched seaweed, and looks flawless. Different species may be more or less accommodating. If you provide the proper nutrients, then I don't see an issue.

I have a 12" blue hippo tang that I've had for at least 6 yrs, and he never touched seaweed. The only fish that has shown good interest in my collection, which consists of angel, parrot, tusk, wrasse, tang, clown, and trigger is oddly the 8" black Hawaiian trigger.

My tangs (yellow, Desjardini, Chevron, in separate tanks) don't eat seaweed "on the clip" or tied to a rock, but if I mix up some nori (you can buy them cheap at Asian grocery stores) into frozen food while thawing, they gobble it up

my kole tang cleaned my tank of gha but he won't go near nori either on a clip or rubber banded to a rock. he devours anything else i feed my tank and since i soak food in selcon or vita-chem, i figure he's getting whatever he needs. he's fat 'n' sassy!

It's funny, I think sometimes you just need one fish to show the rest the way .....

I had a trio of tangs in a prior tank that would not eat nori from a clip. I added a fourth that would, and shortly thereafter the older trio started eating off the clip.
