or rather they did 2 days ago... They dont anymore...
I added a stressed scopas tang to my display. This is the first fish I have added to my tanks from a different lfs then my normal one in years. I made a big mistake. After a few days all 4 of my tanks and one clown had ich on them and the scopas took a beating from my purple tang. i pulled the scopas out of the tank and set up a make-shift hospital tank where he has been for 2 days recouperating.
Two days ago I added ran to my lfs and asked the owner for a suggestion. I have never ever had ich and this mistake, could cost me my fish. He handed me a vial of "No sick fish". $60.00 for a one week dose lol. He also explained that he has heard good things about it. I would not need to remove the fish during treatment. It sounded too good to be true but I was desperate and bought it.
After a day and a half the ich was gone and the fish less stressed. It really wasnt able to take hold too severely and I think I caught it in time. I have been adding Secon to their food and I am relieved.
The Scopas is still somewhat stressed and still not eating yet but has no ich as I dosed his tank as well.
Anyway, if you think that this medicine doesnt work, or it is too expensive, or you would rather take your display apart to add your fish to a hospital tank, then dont buy it. i had a lot of luck this week with it.
Just passing along this info about a product that actually works.

I wouldn't say your out of the woods yet. It's part of the ich life cycle to drop off the fish and multiply in your substrate for up to about a month before re-emerging to feast on your fish.

Post back in a month or so and let us know if you're still "ich-free."
