It only cost about $10 for some tank safe silicone, but it was a pain in the ***!

Not that I have noticed, but I really haven't been looking... I have a tarp wrapped around the stand, to make the transfer back quick and easy, but I haven't seen any water on it yet. If the move goes well I'll be texting you tonight hopefully so I can get it back to you. Thanks again!

Oh crap. What if its not? Don't worry, its empty at the moment... But there is a small gap in the tank/stand on the front.

I can't remember (age)... Does your tank have a black plastic frame around the edges? If it does, you'll probably be okay. Just try to make sure the corners make good contact and the tank is level side to side and front to back...

Good luck!

Thanks George. Just to be safe, Heather's Dad came over and we installed some braces to the center of my stand to make it all nice and flat. Filling it up now!

Stop filling every few inches and measure the water to make sure it is the same depth all the way around the tank... that way you'll spot any out of level situations before your tank gets filled...

I know you're excited.

There is life after the leak!

There is life after the leak!

so the leak is fixed, the stand got a couple of braces, AND while I was repairing the leak my light ballast finally made it back from IceCap! Today was the first day that I actually got to see my aquarium lit up, and it was amazing!

Finally a FTS with tank lights!!!!!

You know what the best part of getting lights is? I found 3 different types of coral that I got as hitchhikers on my LR, and I just noticed them!

Here's an update on my "hitchhikers" . They have really opened up a lot over the last couple of days, and are really starting to look good. I bet someone can figure out what these are now!

This is the group of "things" that were all closed up and dead looking a few days ago...

A couple more of the dark brown one's on the end of this rock also popped out!

Watch out for the tadpoles from that frogspawn... :wildone:

The tank is looking good! Gotta love those free hitchhikers...

Got home today from a week in San Antonio. Heather did a great job with the tank. Right before I left I had a Damsel get chopped up by the return pump, so she got to witness the diatom bloom while I was gone. hehe

Luckily right after the death I did a big water change and I ran down to Aquariums, bought a few big snails (George had already hooked me up with some... thanks again George!) and a bunch of hermits, so by the time I got home it was back to normal!

Anyways, so I did a quick small water change when I got home Saturday and today we picked up a couple of new additions...

This is Scampi. Can't get any good tank shots of him, he's still hiding behind some rocks, so here he is while I was acclimating:

It's been awhile...

It's been awhile...

Haven't posted any pics in a long time, so here's some updates! The rock work is completely different, going through the "Great Damsel Hunt of '10" was a lot of fun...

Everything seems to group over on the right side of my tank, so most of the pics will be from over in that area lol.

Finally got an ATO!!

Finally got an ATO!!

After getting my RKL I suddenly realized I had NOWHERE to put all the electrical wires I was starting to accumulate... and I wanted to add an ATO but had no place to store water near the tank... so my future father in-law went to work for me.

Here's a before:

Notice the ugly wires on the lower right had side of the tank?
