My Vortechs are flowing

Nothing.

I saw threads stating "Vortechs keep spinning" and "Vortechs stopped" so I thought I'd post what mine were doing. ;)

You know Marc I saw those threads and chuckled to myself about how one was reporting that their Vortec stopped spinning and the other that theirs spun too much. If we could just get those groups together would their problems cancel each other out ? :)

NOTE : I was not chuckling to myself about people having issues. We ourselves went through it all the end of last year, so I have felt your pain X4 (the # of Vortecs we have). I was only commenting on the nature of the reported failures and how they were counter to each other (spinning too much versus won't spin at all). I sincerely hope that no one mistakes my words or intent :).

Actually, we recently started with one of ours stalling again. Updated drivers back the first part of the year and very thoroughly cleaned the wet end the latter part of last week (prompted by the stalling). I thought that cleaning would be the end of it.. I was wrong..I went out to red lights on that one this morning :(. I need to re-check our alignment and see if that is what is wrong :)

I have the opsite situation with alignment. My alignment gets better and the pumps get quieter (sp) the longer I do not fool with them. I do run my spacers one notch further out than the directions say though. I only stall if the alignment is wayyyy off.

The new wireless drivers are going to resolve a lot of the stalls, I've heard.

Mine haven't stalled in some time. And with three of them, you'd almost expect one to do it, right? ;)

I better go check to see if Murphy is listening.

You are so screwed Marc. Don't you know Murphy is like God he is ALWAYS listening.

I think he's waiting for me to board my flight to MACNA. Things have been going too well for me lately. The quiet calm before the storm, right? :eek2:

This is a sponsored forum.

That means that the sponsor has paid for the area of the board to allow them communicate with customers and potential customers. This is not a regular discussion forum. It is also not an area for you to post derogatory comments about the sponsors products.

If you have a first hand experience with their product that you'd like to share, you're welcome to do so in the Vendor Experiences forum.

What or whom is this post in reference to?

Ok now I feel very bad for all the other people on that flight. Way to go Marc. Didn't you have some monster head ache not long ago? I wouldn't say you've been on smooth sailing man. You are going to jinx your Vortechs, and Airliner. I am staying away from you. How is the head now anyway?

Looks like a moderator possibly modified that post.

OK. That makes more sense. I am easily confused!

Nothing a little Crown Royal can't solve. :) Thanks for reminding me of the speed bumps. I tend to try to only remember the good stuff. :D

ROFL, I am the opposite I remember the bad stuff so I can try to avoid it at all cost. I have had some of those headaches you have had and I would love to know how you forget them.

BTW Marc, my Vortechs are flowing as well. I thought I should throw that in there so I do not get into trouble for idle chatting in here.

I learned long ago when I was an extreme mountain biker, that focusing on avoiding the obstacle meant that I would hit it for sure.

Guys-

Please keep this thread on topic. The other thread was closed down because we went off topic, let's try and avoid that from happening again.

Alrighty then. Everyone post about how great their VorTechs are.

I feel like a cheerleader. Too bad Spock eats any Xenia in my reef, or I could use them for pom poms. :D
