FWIW...
I was going through Quicken and I just realized my Waratah is three years old. I keep my tank between 76 and 78 degrees F.
I've seen a baby here and there over the years, but don't know where they go, because I only have the one large one. It always lives at the water line on the overflow: half in and half out. It usually gets some sort of dried food once or twice a week, because it floats.
I've always read that they are cold water and wont live long.
