phosphates- lo-range scale-1.0 mg/l High range-2 mg/l.....I know this is high, how do I lower it? I used RO water also.
Cal-510
Alk- 10.5 English DKH, 8.4 German DKH. Now on this do I use the English?

Are these ok?
Any help would be awesome.

Hello, what are you keeping in your tank ? that would determine what values you want to shoot for.

to lower PO4, I would use GFO, http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-11/rhf/index.php good read.

what test kit do you use for KH ? as far as I know numbers and units are the same in every language ... !

your CA++ is high, what is the MG levels at ? what do you dose ?

Tell us more about the tank... How old is it?? What's the filtration and bioload?? Is the tank cycled?? Assuming it has cycled ... The quickest way to lower phosphates is to do a large water change....

OK my tank is a 72 BF with a 30gal sump. in my tank I have 2 GSM clowns, A bi-color angel, a 3 stripe damsel, an e. quadicolor nem. A few zoa/poly's. a couple shrooms. Pep shrimp. I use the IO master reef test kit for my readings. I dont dose anything know, i have used Kalk but have done 3 w/c's since then. The tank is like a year and a half old. filtration is coralife skimmer, cpr overflow, filter sock. What else do yall need to better help me out? I think I covered your questions. I usually perform 30 gallon water changes weekly/bi weekly. Depends on my schedule.

well with the list mentioned, ure not that bad :) po4 could be lower though. Id recommend GFO. and GAC.

what is your source water ? RO/DI ? TDS zero ?

dont dose kalk and just keep up with the water changes and wash the filter sock as much as possible so your no3 will go down as well. daily is optimal.

good luck :)

I have an RO/DI unit but not sure of my TDS. I believe I need to change out my DI filter. OK i will read up on the GFO. What is GAC? Thank you

GAC is activated carbon, read on that as well. I personally run it 24/7, it removes organics from water before they break down, kinda like a skimmer. :)

invest in a hand help TDS meter, its cheap and will tell you when the DI needs replacement :)
