set up for 2 weeks now after the transfer from 29g. first one sprung a leak, but now everything's in control. hopefully.

any idea what these guys are?

they started out pure white with orange tips, but now they have browned out a lot. i kinda liked them better before.

They look like plain old people eaters, buit hard to tell until they color up.

Not sure, but they look slightly bleached.
Give them time, they'll bound back, maybe turn into GPE or RPE?

A powerhead aimed at the surface would brek up that film and help with your lights penetration.

which zoos are you talking about? I'm not sure if I see any film.
I hope they color back up, because before it looked amazing. Now it's just 'eh'.
