Mystery and Tusk

I have a good size Mystery Wrasse and Im thinking of getting an (Aus) Tusk Do you guys think they will play nice? or will the Tusk beat up the Mystery?

I don't think you'll have a problem. I had a Tusk in my 150 reef for two years with a sixline and McCosker's Fairy Wrasse. There was never an issue at all. I sold the tusk because the damn thing was a pig....would grab whole sheets of nori and run to the corner of the tank and swallow it all. Needed too much food in the water for everyone to eat so I sold him to a fellow reefer with a bigger tank. They're actually very shy and peaceful fish, but extremely hungry and aggressive at feeding time. At least mine was.

Yeah i have a tusk and a mystery and they ignore each other. I've never noticed any signs of aggression between the two.

I doubt you'll have any problem. I've never had a tusk bother (other than minor territorial stuff) any fish they can't eat.

Not to hi jack the thread but, since alexsd is considering one and I have one in QT, do they have a habit of scratching acrylic tanks with their tusks? Just something I read once but not a lot. I am assuming it possible but just wanting to know if any has experienced this. Thanks
