mystery wrasse tail half gone

Ok so i know its gotta be one of a few things but i dont see any other fish chasing him let alone bitting at him.
But his tail fin is half eaten, and theres a pretty nice mark on his side too.

I have two clowns (one is qt right now due to mass growing on its face{on a side note the mass is going away since added vit. C to food}), three chromis, a regal tang, a starry blenny, and a purple masked dwarf angelfish.

But I thought mayeb its the pistol shrimp i got with a paired goby but goby died. I hear the pistols snap alot durign the day, but thought maybe he was maessing with snails and such, not fish.
The wrasse doesnt chase my cleaner shrimp but maybe becuz he goes to lay down in the sand bed then that when the shrimp mess with him?

PLEASE HELP.
I dont wanna loose this beautiful fish.

well all the fish have been in just about a month and half give or take a week(depending on fish). tank is 120 cube. thanks for quick reply.

it wasnt like that in beginning for sure has happen just recently, like since saturday, I watch the tank daily all day and went to Florida state game on saturday and kinda slacked about things on sunday but i jst dont get it.
thanks again for your help.

well things like this happen all the time and realistically its going to take some observation time to get to the root of the problem as you have a new job ,sit and watch what goes on in your tank . not so much fun but definitely worth it once you figure it all out . there is no simple conclusion here and your going to have to see it happen in order to see the culprit . i do wish you the best and if it help at all i had something similar happen a month ago as three fish had their tails "ruffled" and i could not see it happening . two weeks later and numerous hours of watching i started to see the tails getting better and they all slowly healed . i never found out what happened ~

that sucks but i really enjoy sitting there watching the behaviors of the fish, so should be fun

thanks for asking but he is one of many choati leopards that i have tried to keep with no luck yet . i am learning and am optimistic, but i have only had bad luck with them so far . some day i will get it . again i wish you the best and be diligent in your attempt to find the culprit .

so his tail is growing back already, the cut on his side is healed, and looks like i have still been able to find the culprit.

Thats a beautiful fish hope it works out for ya soon
