Naka's 180 Starphire tank!!!

Even at 3/4 inches thick, I would not trust a glass tank no matter how well built without some kind of bracing on top (euro-bracing, steel trim, cross-bracing, etc.)

Beautiful tank and it sounds like you aren't sparing anything on the tank!

Ok, I’m back. Sorry it took sooooo long, but I finally finished plumbing my tank. Just a slight delay w/ my stand, but as you can see, I’m very happy w/ the final result. You think my rock is cured by now? It’s been getting bi-weekly water changes in a 55 gal. drum since February 2006. I’m going to start stocking next week. Enjoy the pics.

Thanks for the compliments. My sump is custom from PM and skimmer is Deltec 851.

You need to contact Jaime Depujades and ask him about naka's 180 starphire tank. These guys are pretty impressive. They travel all over the states to setup monster size aquariums.

Just this year they went to Jerry Ritzow, president of All- Glass Aquarium Co. house to redo his personal freshwater tank.
