I've spent the day reading this thread start to finish. My what a tank you have. I would love to see some updated pictures when you get a chance. I'm simply in awe...

I've heard a bunch about your tank, and stumbled acrossed it a couple times - but I made it a point today to go through the entire thread while hard at work ;).

I love everything about your tank, and hope to make somewhat of a "mini" version in the next few months after a move.

I was 1 of the 5,000 (out of 2.5 million) that didn't lose power because of Hurricane Ike (I live in midtown next to downtown and the TX med center which never lost power). I hope your livestock made it but I know most in the greater Houston area did not. :(
 
I lost power 9/12 around 9pm and just got power back today 3 hours ago. Everything survived b/c I had a generator during the power outtage. It's been crazy not having power for 2 weeks especially with 2 kids:(

I'm going to bed w/ AC on finally, so I'll keep you updated after the weekend.
