Hey Naka,
Here is the cheapest price I could find the 50D for. I am also going to purchase this to upgrade from the 5D.

Umm, I would not order from that place with your credit card... Looks like a bait and switch. Read around on how you order from a place (like I am assuming the above is for that price) and you get the run around or you have to order an 8gig CF card from them for like $300.00 and/or they tell you that it's a non US version with no battery or manuals or some other crap... Pretty much if the deal is too good to be true, then it problem is...

How is the glass attached to the pvc? I thought silicone does not bond for very long on plastics.

I know that this question wasn't directed towards me, but...

Acrylic can be attached to glass using silicone -- however I would only do it when adding acrylic baffles to a glass sump. All of my sumps were made that way -- the oldest one is 6+ years old and the baffles are still holding fine.

AGE uses a special process to attach the glass to PVC bottoms... I know they CNC the bottoms with a groove for the glass to sit in, but past that I'm not sure how they do it ;)

From what I have read, it is a special glue that is bonded by UV, but they also adhere glass to acrylic for eurobracing.
