Naked clownfish??

Hi everyone,

I currently have a pair of occelaris clowns and a pair of black ice clownfish. Both pairs are doing great in the tank together and have been for several weeks. I would like to add a naked clownfish (just one) or would I preferably need to keep a pair? Would these get along with my other clownfish? This is going to be my last clownfish(i hope!). My tank is 55 gallons and is 5 months old and all parameters are stable.

Thanks in advance, lewis:)

It never worked well for me to even add a 3rd of the same species and color form.
Adding a mutant can go either way - they kill him for what he is or don't recognize him as a clown at all.
You already having 2 pairs in the same tank is by itself pretty risky business. One more can disturb that balance and screw up everything.

Plus - why would anyone want to put a naked clownfish into his tank? IMHO they are just ugly mutants.

I agree bad idea to add another clownfish.

I personally really like naked clownfish. Throewer- your mother must have forgotten to tell you, "if you do not have something nice to say, then do not say anything at all":)
