Name for red macro I saw today?

jor, no disrespect meant, but I don't think that is a Dasya sp. (I *have* ordered from them before, and they are great.)

I'm guessing it is good old "red feather caulerpa"....Haliptilon sp.

The experts will probably come up with a species name, or tell me I'm totally wrong :)

Anyway HTH,

I'm no expert, but I do know that identifying a red macroalga can be pretty hard even with a picture, so just a general description pretty much makes it not even worth guessing. I can tell you that it is probably a beautiful addition to your tank. If this is a reef tank, there are a few species of red algae that could start to compete with corals, but I wouldn't worry about it growing too extensively.
