Name that Fish!

I was at my LFS today and I saw this fish

Can anyone tell me what type of fish this is?

is this the actual fish you saw? If it is, that looks like a very healthy specimen.

Looks like that fish has eaten recently, so it is either already weaned onto prepared foods, or has JUST been collected. FWIW, this fish is the most difficult fish we've ever weaned, but we've been fortunate enuff to keep ours over 3 years and counting.

If the fish in question isn't eating prepared foods, weaning it will require lots of time, effort, patience, and dedication (trust me, I know).

Water quality is a must, as they tend to go off their feed when the quality declines, however, once weaned and eating, they're great fish. Tat being said, they will suffer in food competition, so are best kept in a species setup or with other very mellow tankmates.

Do a search on OSFF or O. longirostis and you'll find some good threads that chronicle members' experiences with this fish.
