They are starting to come in again but it will be a while before we catch up with existing back orders. I would expect if you ordered one now you could get it in about 3 weeks. If you wait until they are in stock though it could take longer.

I was waiting for someone to post this question again...
R0bin, thanks for asking the question and thanks for the update Roger. I ordered mine from a place called fishsupply.com and I'm a little scared. I haven't heard a word from them since I placed my order in Feb.
I can't wait to get them!!!! Reef redesign is pending....

I wouldn't be scared but they can't send what they don't have, it will be a few weeks before all present backorders are filled.

what is the reason for two months without shipping any to the US? I placed an order with phishybusiness in Jan, and every couple of weeks they tell me that Tunze keeps pushing the date back for shipping. Are you guys working on quality control issues?

They quit making them for a month while the molds were changed and we waited on new shafts and drive units to come in. The issues have been resolved but with no pumps coming in for a month and pumps just now starting to arrive it will be a while before we catch up, worldwide we fell behind thousands of pumps. The factory is changing the basic production strategy from made to order, to batch runs and this is going to take a while to be fully implemented so things will get better but slowly and I don't expect any real improvement in availability of products until early summer.
