nano algea eating fish

What is your best nano algea eating fish? I have a mantis and want to add a fish to takle any algea that might come about. I first tried to overload the tank with extra hermits but the mantis killed them all in the first hour and ate only a couple.

What size tank is it? Because there are a lot of cool blennies that eat algea.

any fish you put there will be a meal for the mantis, a 7.5g is way to small for a mantis and a fish, just my .02c

A large turbo snail eats algae and lasts several months before the mantis invites it over for dinner. Last one I had lasted six months before it decided to search for algae too close to the mantis' lair.

does your tank have a pro-skimmer? If so try using the vodka method to keep the algea away, instead of a meal for a mantis

back pac for about 14g volume between sump and display. there is no algea in the tank and i want to keep it that way.
