Nano fish compatability (gobies)

I just picked up a ORA Sharknose goby (Elacatinus evelynae) to go in my 30gal. I also had intended to put a trio of masked gobies (Coryphopterus personatus) in there as well.


I know the Sharknose and Neon gobies don't play well with each other unless they are a mated pair and now have reservations as to the compatability between the Sharknose and Masked gobies. I guess I did not completely think this one through.

Anyone know if these guys will get along or am I headed for troubled waters?

They will be fine. Sharknose gobies dont get along because they are cleaners, so closely related fish are viewed as competition for cleaning stations. There is no such issue with Coryphopterus sp.
