Nope, no thread, I'm pretty low profile. It's a 24 gallon Aquapod upgraded with 2 additional 36 W PCs, one pure actinic and one 50/50. I had to add additional fans to keep up with the heat load, since I use the stock lid. One fan blows directly onto the water (cut through the clear cover with the intake on the "stock" grate) and the other directs air to the front and out through some holes I added in the front. I have a high fin goby with his Randall's pistol shrimp and a purple firefish in there. I run a limewood airstone in the back chamber which acts as a makeshift skimmer but is really there to add oxygen to the water to keep it at saturated levels. Probably like 20 different Acans of various sizes and locales, something like 5 micromussas, a number of zoanthids, palythoas, dendrophyllia, goniopora, montistrea, porites, and a montipora. I "dose" sodium bicarbonate (1 cup/5 gallons Randy's receipe) with the makeup water (about 1/2 gallon a day) and CaCl about once a week. Weekly water changes of about 5 gallons and that's about it. It's been established for about 1 year.
Mark, I like the zoanthid tank. Ours was originally going to be the same, but my Acans took over my wife's desires. Oh well, there's always more glass boxes out there...
