nano question

First shot in my growth thread shows my WC tomato that I got from the OLD Atlantis back on Atlantic several years ago.....I personally think these are some of the prettiest clowns available. My female is very friendly, although the male always bites my hand.

Lol, typical male.

It seems the wild caught tomatoes have better color, is this true? But aren't they more likly to have ick or other parasites?

I have a GBTA and 1 GSM ... she took to it before Reefneck even got a chance to set it into a rock that we wanted it to anchor to. The GBTA hasn't even hinted that it wants to move. It just keeps growing, and growing, and growing!! I've heard RBTA tend to wander more than GBTA's, but just thought I'd input our experience.

The GSM was quite content in the 29g, then she got moved to the 55g, then back to the 29g, and now she's back in the 55g. All with no change in her personality really. She's never been destructive in any way either. Wish we had introduced a pair at the same time. Note: She's about 2 1/2 - 3 inches long now.

The last time she was in the 29g, she had 4 other fishy companions, so 2 in your nano would probably be fine. JMO.

Nigripes are not blue striped Ben they are the Maldive clown. The blue stripe is the common name for A. chrysopterus and they are very much like clarks and get WAY big unfortunately they loose thier brilliant color in captivity:(

Disc, I think your thinking of the WC tom. Clown will be a good choice for your 24g tank. Let us know how you faired....Good luck

Thanks flreefs, I pretty sure thats what im going to go with, providing I come across some nice ones, a pair hopefully.
Do they pair up the same way as percs do?

ahh maybe one day I'll be able to get fish, if BS would stop happening to me. Today they told us our truck needs like 700$ worth of work done and we come home to the 48" tv screen all messed up.
We bought the tv like 4 years ago, dunno if we should even get it fixed, hubby estimated it to be about 500$

bleh : (
