nano reef options

afternoon roger.

couple of quick questions.

ive got a 15 gallon tall nano and ive decided i dont want to play the game with external overflows, so im going to go buy one thats drilled. im thinking of using one of the tunze outlets(either wall or central depending on how i get the tank drilled) i was wondring how many of those you generally sell, what feedback you've heard, and what your thoughts are.

it looks from the demensions that the size is similar to the size of the osmolator in tank box is that correct?

next topic.
the level alarm that tunze sells, is that the same concept as the osmolator except it gives you control of somthing plugged in? like a return pump?
if that is so, do you think its strong enough to handle both a skimmer pump (sedra 3500 ) and a return pump (mag 5)

thanks for your feedback.

Doh! Sorry John. I don't know how this slipped by. Anyway- the Tunze outlets are very quiet and work really well. In a year I sell maybe a half dozen hang on units and 2 bottom plumbing units. Being metric they are not really popular. They require a 2" bore hole. Thats pretty big for a 15 and likely not a realistic option. If it was me I might look into just a bore hole in the back of say 1.5" to accept a 3/4" bulkhead and then I would put an intake screen in and be done with it. The current model water level alarm monitors for sump too high, too low and tank overflow. In the event of sump too low or overflow it would turn off a load of up to 900W.

Sorry again for missing your post.
