nano skimmer micro bubbles

I am getting a lot of micro bubbles in my tank from the skimmer any advise on how to get rid of these.

How long is the skimmer working?I got a Tunze 9002 for 3 weeks now and it still gives out micro bubbles till now,it's still in it's run-in fase.

I have had it setup for about 4 month now. I turn the skimmer off when I do water changes and it seems to get worse once i plug it back in. I guess I will give it some time.

4 months is a bit long, but i am not well experience with the Tunze skimmers,so wait for a correct answer from someone else.

There can be many causes of microbubbles and the skimmer will always release a few but they should not be numerous. How is it now?

There are tons. I have unplugged the skimmer for now and I am going to give it a good clean.

Try cleaning it, a lot of times just disassembling it and reassembling the skimmer solves the problem. Just check that everything is reinstalled correctly and things line up right. Other possibilities are a high KH (excessive, over 14 dKH) or very fast growth of algae and corals with strong light (oxygen saturation), or use of slime coats, stress coats and some vitamins/amino acids)

I am having the same with micro bubbles, but they seem to come from my rsm130 circulation pumps,i just had my algea explosion because the tank is starting so i think my cause lies there...

With a lot of algae the water gets saturated with oxygen and the oxygen degasses at skimmers and pumps because of a change in pressure.

The way to tell if it is the algae is that in the morning before the light comes on there will be less or no bubbles. The more hours the light is on, the more bubbles. The bubbles will increase through the day.

When the lights are off there are almost no bubbles in sight,i checked it yesterday with a light, and now the bubbles are multiplied two time as much...Also when the light goes on in the morning it seems more misty and through the day it clears up more.
