Nano Skimmer

No skimmer needed, imo.
Most people who go from large systems to nano's cannot imagine a tank without a skimmer but it's common.

Have a good cleanup crew, some nutrient sucking softies & weekly water changes and you can live without.

I have 5 fish in mine, softies like xenia & kenya tree that export nutrients and grow like crazy and 10 hermits and about 20-25 snails (mix of nerite, nassarius, cernith, margarita - only 1).

Weekly 5 gallon water changes.

It may not be ABSOLUTELY needed, but it's addition certainly can't hurt though...although, there is a pretty decent skimmer (from what I've been told) made by Sapphire Aquatics...it is made specifically for the NanoCube 24g...Click Here

[:Edit:] They also have a skimmer made specifically for the AquaPods as well...both brands in 12g or 24g sizes...

I agree with everyone who replyed :) Its not a NEED for such a small tank. It definietly wouldnt hurt to have one. Just dont pick the fission nano skimmer...lol. If you decide to go with a large tank, than yes, it is reccomended to have a good skimmer.
