Nano Stream Choices

I have a 92gallon AGA corner tank that has a reef structure along the sides and buit up in the back. http://dallura.com/reef/cornerfolder/CornerTank20060802_500.jpg

I am considering replacing those big ugly pumps with some nano's maybe a 6055's and a controller for a alternating current across the tank on the left and a 6045 on the right. Or maybe 2x 6055's and a multicontroller (much more $$).

The top of the reef structure is about 2 feet from the front of the tank.

Suggestions?

The 2 6055's is really the best set up in my opinion- more flow and more control.

Thanks for the quick reply. From the tank set-up do you think I need a 6055 in each front corner and the multi-controller or would a SingleController a splitter do the trick?

OK, thanks for the replies. Currently I have a Osci-Wave rotating a Mag 2 (or 3) pump in the front corner and giving me wave motion in the tank.

I am looking on getting rid of that big pump. So here is another scenario for your thoughts and recommendations

What if I just put a 6055 in the same front left corner of the tank and run a Single Controller. Will that give me adequate wave motion? Remember that this corner tank is essentially a triangular tank with only 2 feet on a side. I'm thinking that I don't need a 6055 alternating in each front corner as that may be overkill.

I have some acroproa at the top, some clove polyps across the entire reef crest (which give a dramatic sway with my wavemaker), three large anchor corals, a brain, a plate coral, a clam, sinularia, lost of 'schrooms, and other polyp covered rocks. So I have a mixture of hard and soft corals. I want to reestablish the acropora display I had..

Alternating the flow is still ideal as any time the flow is fairly static the detritus will pile up in certain areas and random flow is the best way to prevent this.
