Nano Stream Wavemaker

Can you put the nano streams on timers to go on and off throughout the day? Not controlling the voltage but just on or off, do they ever start up backwards, or will this harm the pumps? Thanks!

You can but at least 15 minutes must be set between off and on cycles and the pumps will chatter on start and will require more frequent cleaning as they run hotter this way and more calcium deposits will form.
