Nano Streams, When Can We Get Them?

I got an update today, there will be a slight delay. We still may recieve a handful of pumps before September is over but it is looking now like mid October. The problem is the safety certifications have met with delays as the guy in charge of certifying the product is on vacation and until he can inspect the factory, full scale production with the German safety (GS) marks is not possible. It looks like the US ETL safety mark is still on schedule but we want the product to be available in all markets virtually simultaneously.

I heard Premium is getting a very small quantity of them in "mid-late" September and then a larger order in October. Just like Roger said....I'm so glad I pre ordered nice and early and am right near the top of the list. Sure wish I had done a similar thing with Starbucks stock!

I think as far as premium aquatic's wait list goes, they notify everyone on the wait list at once when the item is in stock, then it's a race to place your order and check out faster than everyone else, correct?

This is what premium aquatics e-mailed me, I don't think anyone can be at the top of the wait list:

The wait list is just a computer program that holds your email online. When we restock, it sends you a little email with a link to the product saying it's back in stock. So it doesn't hold the item for you, but doesn't obligate you either.

i went with "myreefcreations" for my purchase of the 6055, a single controller and a photocell. i payed for the whole thing upfront for about 304. incl shipping. no need to make 2 payments or pay $30 now and the rest later. just send me the thing when its here. they will charge my card when it arrives.

I can't take it any longer...I need the nanostreams!! :mad2: :eek2: :uzi: :furious:
:crazy1: :hammer: :fun2: :fun5: :blown: :worried:

They (PA) told me it was a "first on the list, first to get called" sort of thing. I'll give them a call tomorrow to clarify. Thanks for the heads up. This could be like trying to get Springsteen tickets!

Could the non-controlable ones be put on a red sea wave-master pro?

acroreef123

No, Roger suspects they will need at least 15 minuet on/off intervals. Red Sea's don't have that option. A Blueline Tsunami wavemaker does though (if they still make those)

ok, a question from over the pond, a friend of mine is intending to run too of the higher spec non controllable ones on the aquatronica computer system, will this work.. as I may well go this way too..

So 30+ minute intervals should be alright for the smaller nano's(6025, 6045).

Yes, we settled on a 15minute interval as at this interval the pump should last at least 5 years. Anything less than 5 minutes would destroy the pump fairly quickly and make a fair amount of noise. The 6055 which is electronic would have speed control and pulse feature but only if used on our controller, otherwise the samer rules apply. At present we expect them to ship early to mid October and be on dealer shelves by the end of October.
