Yes, 15 minute intervals are OK. The pumps should last 5 years used in this way.

The Blueline Tsunami wavemaker will controll three circuits and can be set for an interval from 30 sec. to 30 min. I know Champion Lighting still carries them.

I agree. I for one do not want to waste another $100 to $200 for another wave device when the one I have works fine.

Does any vendor sell the 6055 and the controller together as a package? I was hoping I could get some sort of discount if I buy them both together, because I don't like spending that much on water pumps, but the 6055 with the controller would be perfect for my46 bow. Especially because I can set the 6055 on pulse and I can't get a pulsing current any other way

tunze doesnt do discounts on "packages", it only puts them together to make it easier to select and purchase.

what exactly does the photo-electric cell do. I don't quite understand what night-mode is.

basically it can detect whether or not your tank lights are on, and then change programs accordingly. say, if you wanted the flow to be lower whent he lights are off or something.
