Nano Streams, When Can We Get Them?

Ohhh, that's cool. I used to keep my main recirc pump on the same timer as my lights, this would be much better, especially when I shut-off the lights to do feedings. Thanks afex for the help. Well, it looks like I will be ordering the 6055 w/ controller and photo-electric cell.

I already have a 6100 and a wavebox. Would it be better to get another 6100 or perhaps 2 of the controllable nanostreams? Tank is 48x24x24.

It depends, if you wanted to target specific areas the nano Streams would be better.

Nothing major has changed on the release date, my personal opinion is they won't be here before the end of October but it won't be off by much, maybe one week into November. Mr. Tunze still feels we can meet the deadline but transport times are not always predictable and a shipment of this size would have to clear German and US customs which adds delay.

Sorry if this question has been asked, can you put the 6024 and 6045 on a controller like the reefkeeper 2? From what I know, these two are the ones that can not be used with the tunze controller - is that true?

Yes, provided you do not switch them more than every 15 minutes. They do not run with our controller.

Basically, you can't run them on a wavemaker and cycle them on and off every few seconds. You can however run them on a timer and switch them off for a few minutes with 15 minutes of on time in between.

So they have to be on for 15 minutes at a time or off for a minimum of 15?

On for 15 minutes at a time, i wouldn't turn them off for a few seconds but anything over a minute should be fine.

So which steampunk anime did the designers of the nano stream get their inspiration from? Looks a great addition for my 150 for a small deadspot!

The design is just based on practicality, the ball design enables it to swivel and the few parts enable it to be mass produced and the outlet is necessary for the prop. It does look a lot like Q-Bert though.
