Thinking of getting a nano tank but not sure which way to go had a 28 JBJ nano HQI before I want something different was maybe thinking of the marineland cube. Are there any other tanks out there I can choose from?

I thought they don't make those tanks anymore I acutaly found one on CR for $130 with light but no stand is that a good deal. Are those made with starfire glass

The AIO Solana was discontinued quite a while back, but used ones pop up from time to time. Some are starfire, most aren't. I have a non-starfire one and love it. It's well built, the lines are clean and the stand is nice too. I also have a 14g BioCube and like it. It's not the best, but it does the trick. I'd take a Solana over a 29g BC any day of the week, but if you look at the price difference new, it's not really apples to apples. The Elos tanks are really nice, but they don't come cheap. There's always the option of buying a 34g Solana tank, drilling it, and building your own stand and sump. Marine Depot sells the 'new' solana style, which is their old rimless tanks w/o the all in one chambers in the back. Honestly, a tank/sump set up is the best way to go to get everything you need in a tank. AIO owners are always trying to find good options for skimmers, dosing stuff, etc., etc. AIO tanks simply lack the room to make it easy. A sump gives you as much space as your stand will allow. Your trade off is the added complexity and added points of failure.

I have an RSM 130 and love it. But if I had to do it all over again, I'd just get all the components seperate and for sure have a sump.

My current plans are to get a 34 gal Solana and a Lifereef over flow so I don't have to drill.
