Nano Wavebox & 6105

I am looking for some feedback here.... I currently have a 36wx36dx27h cube tank (corner overflow in the rear right corner) with the nano wavebox running in it (front right corner). The wavebox is running great and I have it tuned down to throw an approx. 1" wave diagonally accross the tank so it does not affect the overflow (wave is running from the front right corner to the rear left corner). The question I have is;

Is there a way to hook up a 6105 to the slave connection on the wavebox to run with the wavebox and add more flow to the tank. Also if this will work what placement should the 6105 have.

Any feedback here would be appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

You best bet is to buy a 7091 controller for the 6105. If you run it on slave you are only able to run it in sync or exactly opposite sync with the wavebox and does not make good use of the flow of the pump.

as for placement there really is no perfect but an opinion I have would be consider 2 6055s instead of 1 6105. I think it would work better with this foot print as one pump will have a hard time getting even flow.

I agree with Shawn, the rapid pulsing of the 6091 does not give you the linear flow you are using the Stream for. I would also suggest 2 6055 and a 7096 or 7095 controller.

Thanks guys I will explore the 2 6055's. on a single controller.... On another note.... Can the wavebox and the 2 6055's be controlled on a multi controler together to create a wave and flow patterns?

Keep in mind if you run two pumps with a single 7091 controller both will have the same flow pattern. You would likely be most interested in the 7096 which can control both pumps separate plus do the wavebox. The wavebox comes with a controller but you could use the 7096 to do it all
