I got the upgrade bug. I thought long and hard about going to a larger tank with T5 lighting. After weighing the costs, hassles and possible coral/fish losses related to changing tanks. I decided to go all out with my Nanocube 12G. Even though the 1.70 w/ PC from Nanocustoms is not cheap, I know I saved money by not going bigger. The Tek T5 lights alone are almost as much as the Nanocustoms upgrade itself. I have been successful with my little cube and have grown quite fond of it.....so why ruin a good thing. Its been going almost a year now without any problems. My TOTAL maintenance and care consists of a two gallon water change each week and cleaning the glass. How simple can it get.....no dosing...no chemicals...no constant testing....no nothing....just water. I have not had one single loss of any kind. (ok..I did loose a tail-spot blenny that went over the top into my rear chambers) Whoever said nano tanks are difficult, obviously never had one.
