Nanocube

Hello I was wondering what the best local place is to buy a nanocube. I went to the aqua cave in akron the otherday and he wanted 190 for a 6 gallon and 420 for the 24 gallon. This seemed pretty steep. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was there today and they had a used 24g nano (i think) with no price, just a name to call. It was a little dirty and I have no idea what the model was but I'm sure you could call in the AM and ask. Looked in decent shape, just needed a good cleaning.

If you're looking for new (or smaller) they have some new Aquamedic cubes on special as well. Those you can see on the website.

I have a 12g JBJ nanocube that has some mods done to it. There is a Lights of America 27w light (150w equivalent) installed in the hood. There is an external canister filter (Rena XP1) fitted into the system which adds 1 gal of volume and has 250gph of flow. There are moonlights in the hood and the rear section has been converted to a refugium with a 50w heater hidden in one of the back sections.

I would sell it for $130 if you want it all or you can have just the tank and light for $70

I have pics around here somewhere. PM if you are interested. I am about 45 minutes west of Akron. I will post the pics Friday after I find them.

Just an FYI.... The one with the name is one we need to send back that a customer just brought in.

Oops! I just assumed it was for sale. My bad.

Hi,

I think the guy at Seacave is high on most of his stuff. Salty Critter is 45min. from my house in Stow via the Turnpike. If your in the Akron area you might try Two Turtles pets on West Market St. or some of the big box pet stores if you are just looking for a tank. Usually people on this board have tanks for sale if you post a request.
