Those are the craziest links I've come across in a long time. :lol: Nicely done. I have to say I'm amazed that Nanogurl found the very site that talks about her. Talk about amazing coincidences. And that other one about Ich. If only they had one about - let's say - AEFW.

PBT Update!
Well good news and bad news again. The good news is that after the FW dip my PBT responded very well immediately. He started swimming back to his normal self and wasn't laying around looking lathargic either.
Today when the lights came on all black spots were gone and the ring holes were faded and almost gone. It's amazing the change he's gone through since the dip. I am watching him now all over my tank eating and swimming and acting normal.
The bad news is now my Scopas has them. I am setting up the FW dip again tonight for her treatment. I will treat both again in three days and monitor all fish.
Hopefully I will get lucky and this will fix the problem. If not, I will have to remove all fish and treat in a seperate tank for a few months I guess. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Good Luck to you on fighting this, When I was first setting up my tank it seemed that everything i put in there was getting ick.
The only thing that stopped it for me was a UV , I know that people have different opinions on that subject but it worked for me and thats all I can say. That was the only thing different I did and from day it worked and havnt seen ick in over a year.

Yea, I think UV lights have there place for sure. I know they work wonders in the koi world. I have thought about them prior to getting my PBT as I knew at some point I would have a problem. Black ick however I was totally not prepared for and it caught me off guard. Oh well, I'm learning!
