It is basically a drum inside of a casing that allows water to flow only through certain lines at a time, creating alteranting flows with only one pump. I don't have one, but when I get one I will post my review, search the equipment form, there is alot of info about them

i think you can use 150s on the end then 250s in the middle. melev uses 2 250s and a 400w in the middle. you can compansite for the different colors by adding t5s

Thanks. I don't want to use T5's as of right now bc I like the look of the Phoenix bulbs only. I really like the color and don't want to change it with accent lighting. I might later on though just to see what it looks like.

Jeeze, this forum is the biggest group of leg-humpers I have ever seen. You guys act like you've been locked up for 50 years and havn't seen a woman since. Every female that comes on this board and makes a thread gets 3498749324 replies telling how amazing her tank looks and how neat everything is.

Ah...What ever dude.

Don't listen to him NanoBabe....Errrr....NanoGurl, your tank is amazing and everything is neat. How about some more action shots and when is Taco night? ;)

96" x 24" x 24" would be great. Plus it'll work as a coffin later on. ;)
sorry for being tardy with this response...but I've been catching up.

ok, just how tall is NG? I seem to remember she is a shade over a 110g long, could we get her in a 60" tank?

Congrats on the house, your tank is looking great! I too have had issues with the nanostream 6045's, but Tunze has been excellent about repair/replacement. I guess that's the price we pay for buying early editions.

Hey there NanoGurl, I am glad that your tank is getting better. You have so many corals  I am getting a bit jealous...in fact if you get a 240 gallon tank I will be very jealous ;)

I can't wait until you get your current tank setup just the way you want it and post some pics.

Haha omg! MORBID!!!!

I can crawl inside a 75 if you guys just want to shove me in and cover me up!!!

Thanks =) Really excited about it being built. Long wait though.

Sorry to hear about your Nanos... I don't think what happened is covered by warranty, but I guess I could ask. I can get over the two pieces breaking bc I did break it i guess.. but the two pieces not snapping together from the minute out of the box really bugged me for that price tag.

As long as it's 181g or bigger I will be happy!!! LoL =)

Thank you! Yea, our 75 is packed full of corals... there literally is no more space lol. Once the FW's are gone we can start placing them back in a better spot and clean it up a bit.

We spent over an hour today doing work on the tank. It really made a big difference and made the tank nice to look at again. Once the corals are placed again it will be even better.

I will post soon. I just started and had to leave for work for a month. SUcks..... but when i get back my tank should be ready for pickup.

NG - actually, the problems with the Nanostreams holders are well documented and you're right, they shouldn't have snapped from just trying to readjust the magnet. It's a known issue at Tunze and the holders are in the process of being redesigned to eliminate the design flaw that can make certain batches more prone to these problems. In the meantime, talk to Roger in the Tunze forum here at RC - he'll make it right for you. ;)

NanoGurl:

Is that the AGA Modern series stand you have your tank on? I am considering getting that stand or one of the AGA Mission series stands for a 120 gallon. How's the quality of the stand? Is it holding up okay?

Thanks. Your tank looks great.

ditto spleen93's response regarding the nanos...Roger is highly professional and responsive to issues in Tunze's products. His responsiveness is one reason I opted for spending the money on a quality powerhead (though the first line of them when the kinks were getting worked out)

Hey NG, I love your threads. You take the photo thing to the entertainment level and you seem to understand it well. It's nice to see your love for animals and things, good work gurl.

If I missed this I am sorry . . .what camera do you use? I seem to be camera illiterate or maybe photo illiterate and think maybe a nice camera will forgive me a bit.
