Just finished reading your thread!! I love hearing about ALL of your critters. Makes the thread very interesting. The tank is coming along great. Hope you eradicate those FW completely. The sixline should keep things under control once the population is decimated. I had a small outbreak of them and added a sixline immediately, before the explosion took place. The fish took care of business and I haven't had a problem since. I noticed them after adding a piece of coral. Now I dip everything before it goes into the tank.

I love your zoos. For some reason, I'm fascinated by zoos which is why I'm building mainly an LPS tank with lots of zoos.

Good job, great thread. Thanks for sharing everything.

Thank you! =) I love zoas too! I am also hoping my six line will help. I'm thinking about going ahead and adding him now. It's been weeks and he's looked fine.

Do you have a thread/build?

I do.

Not much to it. There is a link to the early days of the tank (not so long ago). Hoping to allow this thread to grow, yours has given me inspiration (if you check the latest pics, you'll see what I mean). ;)

Trigeek's 90g thread

Tagging along! Love your dogs!

Wow, about 7-8 pages since i last read, good to see your reef is doing better, hope you win the battle for the FW's.

Thanks! Update below!

Sphaghetti Night Update!

Okay sorry everyone not a lot of updates this week. Still working on the flatworms. We went ahead and added the six line wrasse to the tank yesterday, and right on cue Ocean chased him everywhere for a few hours before the lights went out. Today they were fine and swimming together. Hoping he helps with some of the FW problem prior to medicating.

And our RBTA decided to move again... then again.. then again... and then again tonight! He came out from under his rock so I fed it and snapped a photo.

Sphaghetti night was deeeeelicious! Fresh garlic, meat, onions, green peppers in a yummy sauce with fresh parmesean on top and garlic bread =) I ate a whole plate and then couldn't move for awhile LoL!

Here is my cat Beamer enjoying his sphaghetti!

naqno Girl you rock.. awsome pics always. I love the way you reply to everyone that reply to your post. You are truly awsome.. I finally started my thread as soon as I get back from a trip I hope to start on my new tank. Your tank blows away my old 75. Keep the pics coming...

Hey NG! It's nice to see another girl on the forums! =) I feel like the only one sometimes. I like your 75g. It's lookin good. I love your powder blue tang Ocean. Beautiful. Hey, where did you get your sugar gliders? I have never seen them around here.

I've been lurking around here since 2005. I did quite a bit of reading and not very much posting. I finally have taken the plunge and I now have a marine tank! I have been doing freshwater since I was a kid.

One big question I have for you, how do you keep your sand so CLEAN!?!? Mine is covered with what appears to be hermit shell fragments and other purplish/redish debris.

I've been contemplating getting a goby because they should sift the sand around a bit....

Any tips?

Great pictures. Does the flash hurt the eyes of these nocturnal critters?

Thanks! Yea, after a few shots they start to get a bit aggravated. I try and limit it to one or two at a time when the room is really dark. The babies run more then the adults from it.

Well, good skimming and water changes help keep the algae under control.. and things to sift the sand is always good... like hermits and even snails will (some of them). You can also use a Python or similar device to suck water/detris out of the sand.

I don't really do too much except for those. I think my eel helps stir the sand some and keep it "active" which helps. Sometimes I get some algae growth and I just siphon it out to help keep it down. I have been really slacking lately though!

And sorry I saw the post count thought you were new!
