Nanostream 6025 clicking noise

I installed a 6025 on Dec 28th, and for the first few days it ran fine if not a little loud. Yesterday it start a clicking noice when it starts up, lasts for about 2 seconds, so I figure that it is the prop hitting something inside.

My question is that normal? I do have it on a Digital Aquatics RK2, with a cycle of 20 minutes on/off. A few minutes more than what is recommended.

Nice pump, but a little underpowered for my tank. Will probably add another in the near future.

Any help would be appreciated.

They will click as they start up. Roger has said that the pump does this as is makes sure that it is spinning in the proper direction.

Yes, they collide with the cover on start up and rattle this can last up to 15 seconds. On start up an impeller pump spins clockwaise or counterclockwise without any effect on flow, for prop pumps they can only spin one way and work, if it spins the wrong way it flys out of the magnetic field and then falls back, on the fall back it starts spinning the right way like a falling maple seed, it then hits the field synched up in the correct rotation. That is the cause of the noise.
