My new 6045 was working flawlessly until it started rattling yesterday. I took the thing apart and did not see a shaft for the impeller to rotate on. It's inside the prop. It looks like the shaft was broken... but isn't it stainless steel? im confused...
It is stainless steel but it is very hard(brittle) and in some cases the shaft was stressed in the pressing in process as it now must be pressed in with a great deal of force. PM me an address and we will arrange to replace your motor.
