what is the reason for the NanoStream to have selectable voltage from 12v to 24v.

Also mine came with the European style power wall plug, I know I can buy a adapter to use, but can I just put a regular plug on it ( the kind that comes with just about any audio/video equipment )

So you got a wrong cord? We can send you one, it is a standard appliance cord. The different voltages change the pump speed.

Thanks for the offer on the cord Roger, but since I've got a gazillion of those cords laying around I don't need one.
