Nanostream and Icecap Battery backup

I have never used one but it should be a stand alone unit that doesn't need the safety connector.

The reason we don't is three fold.

1) Batteries are heavy and expensive to ship, hazmat concerns also come into play.
2) The safety connector we offer allows a lot of versatility such as solar panels or changing batteries, using disposable or rechargeable batteries and scaling the battery up to meet the needs of the end user. For example a greenhouse frag operation could run with just solar and heavy duty batteries and completely run off the grid.
3) Batteries are one of those things that a price break is only possible in enormous volumes, we really could not buy a battery for much less than you can at a battery store, the economics of including the battery also just don't pan out.
