Nanostream not starting with timer

My nanostream did not start again for the third time today. I really don't want to have to reach my hand in the tank every other day. Can I get this replaced? I'm hoping mine is just the oddball because I really like it other than that. Is anybody else having problems with a timer. I also would like to get the screen for it. Thanks for any help.

The pump has a very specific operating range of 100-130V, if you have dips in power or a heavily loaded circuit it may not start properly. If it is new it should be run continuously for a couple days for parts to wear in before using a timer. It is normal for start up to take as long as 20 seconds but usually at about 120V start up takes less than 5 sec.

I bought it on 6/14 and it has been running for 12 hours a day. I have three seperate circuits on my 90 and the one I have it on is not loaded at all. When I get home from work is when I find out if it has turned on or not, so it has been sitting there all day long doing nothing. I have unplugged it many times and plugged it back in and it still does not start, I have to reach in and spin the prop to get it started. I really think there is something wrong with it, because nobody else is having issues. It's just really frustrating to spend 60.00 on a powerhead and get home from work and have to spin the prop by hand and then you think about how it has just been sitting there all day long doing nothing.

No it is very quiet imo. I don't think the prop is hitting the sides and it look clear in there.

Last night when the timer went off I decided to turn it back on and it did not start back up. I powered it up many times and nothing. I then plugged it into a seperate circuit in the house and still nothing. I reached in and spun the prop and it started back up. I then turned it off and took it out of the tank, took it apart and everything looked good to me. It does make a clicking sound when it starts up. Is this normal?

The clicking sound is normal. Can you send it to me? I will test it and if I cannot figure it out I will send a new one.
